Gravis Planning provided planning consultancy services to Diageo, which involved leading the architectural team and client from initial design stage followed by Pre-Application Discussion (PADs) with Departmental officials to obtain formal planning approval.
PADs allowed all relevant parties to raise concerns early in the design process so that the client’s team could resolve any significant issues prior to lodging a planning application. This resulted in obtaining full planning permission for storage warehouses on a site with sensitivities approximately four months after submission.
