Our Involvement

The proposed development at this strategic site includes the reconfiguration of existing retail units as well as demolition of some existing retail units and part of the existing mall to create an outside plaza.

The proposal involves internal and external alterations with new façades and extended pedestrian entrances to the car park and Woodhouse Street. Amendments of the access, the reconfiguration of the service yard, a new loading dock and service ramp and wheelchair accessibility for customers were all included alongside ancillary works.

The development represents a significant investment of up to £6 million, creating 20 permanent retail jobs. A further 100 jobs were also supported during the planning and construction phases.
