PACC services provided for City Centre hotel approval

Working as part of a project team led by Coogan & Co Architects, Gravis is delighted to have assisted with the provision of Pre-Application Community Consultation (PACC) services on a major planning application for a new hotel development at Centre House, on Chichester Street in Belfast. The application was approved by Belfast City Council’s Planning Committee earlier this month.
The proposal has been designed by Coogan and Co Architects as part of their long-standing relationship with Kilmona.
The proposed significant investment from Kilmona Holdings will include the development of a 146-bed hotel, over 5 floors, with 17 additional bedrooms as a new build over the 5th floor. The ground floor will remain as retail units and a restaurant with access to gated private parking. A fitness suite will be provided on the second floor.
The new hotel will have a positive impact on the local tourism industry by encouraging more people to visit and stay in Belfast as well as offering an innovative approach to flexible working through the retention of office space within the building.
