EUROSPAR on Isle of Man to be redeveloped following receipt of planning permission secured by Gravis

We are happy to have assisted Mannin Retail in securing planning permission for the redevelopment for a new EUROSPAR store at the Airport Garage in Ballasalla on the Isle of Man, from the Isle of Man Government.
The proposal comprises a proposal for the redevelopment of the existing Airport Garage site and the adjacent builders’ yard, including the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of a new EUROSPAR foodstore, an additional small retail unit, two light industrial units and additional jet wash / valeting services together with parking and service access.
This new and improved retail offering will service local residents as well as those working in the Balthane Industrial Estate, which is located very close to the consented development, as well as those travelling to and from the airport on the Isle of Man.
Gravis Planning prepared the Planning and Retail Statement for the planning application which includes an assessment of retail impact and need for the proposed development.
The new development will create new jobs and improve choice for consumers in the Ballasalla area. We look forward to seeing this redevelopment in the coming months.
