The Proposal
Thank you for visiting our online consultation. This webpage allows you to view information about the proposed development in advance of a planning application being submitted and provides you with the opportunity to submit your own feedback on the proposals.
EP Ballylumford are proposing the construction of a new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facility within the grounds of the existing Ballylumford Power Station which is capable of exporting up to 300MW of electricity
There will be an opportunity to meet the project team at a 'drop-in' public consultation event which will take place on Thursday 29th May 2025 between 12-2pm and 4-7pm at Larne Golf Club (54 Ferris Bay Road, Islandmagee, Larne, BT40 3RT).
Members of the project team will be present at this event to respond to any questions you may have regarding the proposals.
This online consultation will run until Friday 6th June 2025.
